This is how the campus looked today after a quick snow storm that hit Denver. I was lucky leaving early for work just ahead of an more intense storm then expected. Meterologist predicted .5 inches of snow but in less then 2 hours over 3 inches of the white stuff was dumped on the ground causing quite a mayhem on the roads. Some of my students who left late took over 2 hours for a drive that normally takes only 25 minutes.

Quick Snowstorm hits Denver and the Frontrange
This is how the campus looked today after a quick snow storm that hit Denver. I was lucky leaving early for work just ahead of an more intense storm then expected. Meterologist predicted .5 inches of snow but in less then 2 hours over 3 inches of the white stuff was dumped on the ground causing quite a mayhem on the roads. Looks so pretty but sounds pretty awful for travelling in.
Do you need chains on your tyres in winter?
Too bloody cold for my liking though.
